The BMC Tooling Compression Spiral Cutter Z2 + 6 Wings is engineered for flatbed CNC machines to deliver an exceptionally clean, chip-free finish on both the top and bottom surfaces, even at high feed speeds.
Designed for machining chipboard, HMR, MDF, and laminated panels, this advanced geometry combines two main cutting edges with six additional finishing wings to provide superior surface quality, smoother cutting action, and maximum stability. The enhanced design ensures improved chip evacuation, reducing heat build-up and tool loading, resulting in a better finish and significantly longer tool life.
Coated with BMC Tooling’s special high-performance coating, the cutter is extremely hard and highly wear-resistant, minimising abrasive wear caused by resins and fillers. This makes the Z2 + 6 Wings model the ideal solution for high-volume production environments where finish quality, consistency, and durability are critical.
