The BMC Tooling Compression Spiral 3 Wing Cutter is designed for flatbed CNC machines to deliver a clean, chip-free finish on both the top and bottom surfaces, even in demanding production environments.
Specifically recommended for machining chipboard and HMR, the 3-wing design provides increased stability and smoother cutting action, allowing high feed speeds while maintaining excellent edge quality. The compression geometry prevents chipping on both faces of the panel, making this cutter ideal for laminated and coated materials where consistency and finish are essential.
Finished with BMC Tooling’s special high-performance coating, the cutter is extremely hard and wear-resistant, significantly reducing abrasive wear caused by resins and fillers commonly found in chipboard and HMR. This ensures longer tool life, consistent performance, and reduced downtime in high-volume production.
